Why Reporting Fraud Matters
Scammers thrive on silence. When fraud goes unreported, it gives them more time to exploit others using the same tactics. But when you speak up—even if you're unsure—it gives your bank a chance to:
- Block further access to your account
- Warn others about new scam trends
What To Do If You Receive a Suspicious Message
- Don’t click. Don’t reply. If you receive a suspicious text or email—even if it looks like it's from your bank—don’t engage with it. Just seeing the message isn’t harmful, but clicking or replying could be.
- Contact us directly. Call or visit our official contact points. Never use a phone number or link provided in the suspicious message. Go directly to www.solutions.bank or call your local branch.
- Report it immediately.
- Forward suspicious texts to 7726 (SPAM).
- File a report with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC): https://reportfraud.ftc.gov
- Let us know. We’re here to help. If you received a sketchy message or think your account info may be compromised, call us. Even if everything’s fine, we’d rather know and be proactive.
